Christian worship is not confined to Sundays, although that tends to be the day when Christians gather together for worship. Each day we are encouraged to read the bible and pray, and some churches and all Cathedrals hold formal worship services each day.
In the Anglican Church (Church of England) worship is officially managed by the two official prayer books - the Book of Common Prayer dating from 1662, and recently published (2000) Common Worship. Both these books have a framework of services for worship in the morning, evening, and at night time. A different set of bible readings and prayers are slotted into the framework.
The links to the right provide access to the services from the Common Worship book for today. if you want yesterday's or tomorrow's service, use the Anglican Daily prayer link and follow the links from there. Similarly follow the link if you prefer the service in the traditional language of the Book of Common Prayer.
Finally as one of the glories of Anglican worship are the Cathedral choirs who sing their way through the service. There is a link to the BBC's choral evensong webpage on which you play the latest broadcast.
